From early pregnancy through the fourth trimester
This package is designed so you feel fully supported from the first visit until you are well into life with your baby. Your care is consistent and personal, with a midwife who knows you, your history, your hopes, and your preferences.
With this model of care, many parents feel calm and confident throughout the entire journey. You have the information and support you need to make informed choices, feel safe during labor, and move into parenthood with trust in yourself and your team.
Covers prenatal, birth, and postpartum care for you and your baby. Payment plans are available so you can spread the cost over your pregnancy.
$500 is due at your initial booking visit. The remaining balance is paid over time and is due in full by 34 weeks of pregnancy.
Your complete care package
Your investment includes care from early pregnancy through six weeks postpartum for both you and your baby. You are not rushed through appointments, and there is space for education, questions, and planning.

General lactation support is part of your postpartum care, and many families find these visits are where things really come together.
Global midwifery fee
The $5,000 global fee is a single, bundled charge that covers your full course of midwifery care from your first prenatal visit through six weeks after birth.
- Prenatal care All scheduled prenatal visits, routine screening in office, and ongoing support through pregnancy.
- Birth care Your midwife's services during labor and birth in your planned out of hospital setting.
- Postpartum and newborn care Home or office visits in the first six weeks after birth for both you and baby, including general lactation support.
- Continuity of care Your midwife is on call and available for urgent needs and questions as you move through your pregnancy.
A $500 initial payment is due at your first visit and is applied to the global fee. The remaining balance is paid over time and is due in full by 34 weeks of pregnancy.
Some services are outside the global fee and are billed separately by the provider or facility that performs them. This helps keep your midwifery fee focused on the care you receive from Tell The Bee's Midwifery.
- Laboratory tests, ultrasounds, and NSTs when needed
- IV therapy and some newborn screenings performed outside our practice
- Costs related to transfer of care or hospital services if they become necessary
- Birth supplies, doulas, photographers, placenta services, and similar add ons
I am happy to help you plan for these possible expenses and to talk through what is usually covered by insurance versus what may be out of pocket.
Birth assistant and other services
In addition to the global fee, there are a few separate charges for specific services. These are only billed when they are actually needed and used.
- $ 250 Birth Assistant Fee Covers the presence of a skilled birth professional to assist me at your birth. This fee is due at your 36 week home visit.
- $ 125 IV therapy Charged if IV fluids or IV medications are needed during your care.
- $ 75 Rhogam Charged if you receive Rhogam through the practice.
- Travel fee for longer distances $ 300 for travel when your home is 50 miles or more from the practice, plus $200 for a hotel if an overnight stay is required.
- Additional midwife for multiples $ 800 if a second midwife is needed for twin or higher order pregnancies.
We will review all fees together at your financial visit so you know exactly what to expect and can plan ahead.
Simple, clear payment options
I know every family's financial situation is different. My goal is to make care as accessible and as low stress as possible while also keeping the practice sustainable.
After your initial $500 payment at the first visit, the remaining balance of your global fee can be divided into monthly payments. Payments begin at the start of care and continue each month until the balance is paid in full by 34 weeks of pregnancy.
The exact monthly amount depends on how many months there are between your first visit and 34 weeks. We will map this out together so you have a clear plan.
If payments fall behind, care may be paused or transferred, but I am flexible and I encourage you to reach out early if something changes so we can talk through options and, when possible, adjust your plan.
How insurance works with your care
Tell The Bees Midwifery does not bill insurance directly. Your care is paid for out of pocket according to your payment plan. Many families are then able to seek reimbursement from their insurance after the birth.
To support this, I partner with a billing company that can submit claims for you using a detailed superbill from your care. You are not on your own with the paperwork.
- Benefit verification A $ 25 benefit verification fee helps confirm what your insurance may reimburse for out of hospital midwifery care.
- End of care billing support At the end of your pregnancy, there is a $75 billing fee paid directly to my biller. They will submit the claim and superbill to your insurance on your behalf.
Any reimbursement from your insurance company is paid directly to you. This does not change when your payments to the practice are due. Payments for care are made during pregnancy based on the schedule we set together.
Insurance plans vary, so reimbursement is never guaranteed, but many families do receive some money back. I am happy to answer questions and help you decide whether submitting through my biller is a good fit for you.
